Hello again! Remind us who you are and what business you started.

Hi, my name is Eyal Reich and I'm StoreYa's co-founder and COO, along with Yariv Dror, the CEO (and my brother:) and Pasha Zaft, the CTO.

StoreYa offers a suite of marketing and advertising apps that help SMBs increase sales, leads, and social following. We support more than 400,000 online sellers that are coming from 186 countries, we also integrate with 30 eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce, etc.

Our flagship product is called Traffic Booster, with it, we automate Google Ads using our unique AI technology. Take the burden off our clients' shoulders, and get the right customers at the right time for the right cost.

We use the entire arsenal that Google has to offer from dynamic search ads, customized search ads, remarketing, dynamic remarketing, shopping, smart shopping, smart display ads, and Youtube ads.

In addition to Google ads, we manage growth and remarketing campaigns on Facebook and Instagram for a lot of our clients.

We turn our clients' dreams and passions into reality, by driving targeted traffic that generates sales letting our clients focus on their products instead of wasting time on marketing efforts from their end. We're a Premium Google partner, one of only 500 Google resellers around the world, we won the 2020 Google Acquisition Performance award, and we're a PayPal exclusive advertising partner.

We launched StoreYa 10 years ago, with the idea of building a valid business, one with a strong business model behind it. As opposed to many startups that pursue their dream and don't think about how to make money in the early stages, we didn't want to be dependent on fundraising, we wanted to reach the profitability stage as soon as possible. We raised a seed round of ~$900K when we first started and for the past 6 years, we've been profitable, generating an average of $1.4M MRR.

Tell us about what you’ve been up to! Has the business been growing?

We’re working hard and keep pushing to make StoreYa bigger and better!
It includes daily improvements to our algorithm, testing different advertising methods, and working closely with our team at Google and Facebook to make sure we’re all aligned.

Our focus is SMBs and our passion is seeing their businesses grow, once they see a positive ROAS they upgrade to any ad budget they wish, that’s a big win for them and for us. We help our clients to provide for their families and there isn’t a better feeling than that.

We’ve been growing 150% YoY in the last 5 years.
We see the growth in traffic and sales from different eCom marketplaces, every few months we partner with a new eCommerce platform, the latest platforms we partnered with are Square and Neto.

Besides those partnerships we keep scaling our own advertising campaigns on Google and Facebook, we’ve also recently launched a TikTok channel and built a 40K+ community (TikTok is actually the no.1 domain in 2021 so putting efforts there is important).
SEO is an important play as well, we publish two posts per week and reach between 25K-50K readers a month.

What have been your biggest lessons learned in the last year?

When running a company there are many ups and downs and lessons to be learned.
In the past year, we put efforts into different partnerships and platform integrations that took a lot of time and resources from us and not all of them were worthy of it.

You’ll make mistakes along the way but if you keep a positive mindset and understand that it’s a marathon runner and not a sprint, you’ll get there at the end.

A good decision was to put a lot of time and effort into our PayPal partnership, it was a two years due diligence process that made us this year their exclusive advertising partner they recommend to the 20M businesses that use them.

What’s in the plans for the upcoming year, and the next 5 years?

Our goal for the next few years is to create a hub for online sellers and marketers to manage all of their PPC, SEO, and marketing activities in one place.
We will provide a store overview of their current status and the actions they need to take in order to drive more traffic and convert it into customers.

We will keep on developing apps that save time for our clients, our focus has always been to have our clients focus on their products and what they do best while we focus on their traffic, performance, and ROAS.

Have you read any good books in the last year?

In the past year, I’ve been listening to more podcasts than reading books. Between StoreYa and two babies, podcasts are easier to digest for me.

Here are a few of my favorite podcasts:

  • The prof g pod
  • 20 minute leaders
  • How I built this

Advice for other entrepreneurs who might be struggling to grow their business?

Ideas come and go, validate them fast and keep pushing forward.

It took us 15 apps until we found our winning product. You’ll make mistakes along the way but if you keep a positive mindset and understand that it’s a marathon runner and not a sprint, you’ll get there at the end.

It's a rollercoaster, make sure your relationship with your partners is rock solid.

Be passionate about what you do, otherwise, you're wasting your time.

If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough.
