In 2018, Ajesh Kapoor introduced SemiCab. a trucking-focused SaaS company with headquarters in Atlanta that offers transportation logistics.

He built his marketplace platform over two years, testing the predictive modeling on real datasets. The business received funding from technology, financial, and supply chain investors.

Each carrier on SemiCab's platform is vetted. This screening procedure guarantees that their insurance is up to date and that their safety record is spotless.

SemiCab makes money from the platform based on the value of the extra miles that carriers can travel on their planned route with full loads.

At the end of 2020, they started bringing on clients, and with a project value of $400,000, they managed their first loads in April 2021. Less than a year later, they are handling $1 million worth of loads each month and are still rapidly expanding.
